Description
The Tasman™ Retaining Wall System is a premium, dry-stack walling solution ideal for both residential and commercial application enhancing visual appeals of garden beds, planter boxes, low retaining walls, and even garden edging. Designed to build near-vertical and high structural walls, Tasman™ blocks feature a natural rock face texture and come in a wide range of natural colours, complemented by purpose-made 90° corner blocks and capping units for a professional, finished look.
This DIY-friendly system does not require concrete footings and enables the construction of straight, curved, or stepped walls up to 660mm high without reinforcement (subject to council approval). Its patented interlocking design uses a minimal 10mm setback, allowing the block below to securely lock into the one above—achieving both structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
For walls exceeding 660mm in height or those supporting additional loads (e.g. driveways or traffic), FORTRAC® geogrid reinforcement is integrated into every second course to form a reinforced soil structure. Engineering guidance is recommended for these applications.
